It was a dog day afternoon for Scotland Sevens players Ben Addison and Jim Thompson when they joined forces with Lothian and Borders Police dog Yodi and Emirates Airline Edinburgh 7s mascot Scottie to investigate the facilities at Lothian and Borders Police headquarters at Fettes in Edinburgh. The building's training grounds are one of the official training venues for the Emirates Airline Edinburgh 7s, being held at Murrayfield on Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June.
