GETTING THE POINTS

The Series championship is decided on the points earned in each tournament.

For most events (except Hong Kong!) points are awarded as follows:

o Cup winner (1st place): 20 points
o Cup runner-up: 16 points
o Losing Cup semi finalists: 12 points
o Plate winner (5th place): 8 points
o Plate runner-up: 6 points
o Losing Plate semi finalists: 4 points
o Bowl winner (9th place): 2 points

...while in Hong Kong, it's a bit different:

o Cup winner (1st place): 30 points
o Cup runner-up: 24 points
o Losing Cup semi finalists: 18 points
o Losing Cup quarterfinalists: 8 points
o Plate winner (9th place): 4 points
o Plate runner-up: 3 points
o Bowl winner (17th place): 1 point
